Unser Retter in der Not!

My sisters and I took a one-week road trip around Germany in my son's old Peugeot. We were very worried when the oil lamp came on and the car could barely make it to the top of the hill. It was late in the evening on a hot July afternoon. We pulled over to look for a car repair shop. They were all closed, but we were very lucky to get hold of this mechanic, who said he would wait for us to arrive. We were relieved to find out that the car had just overheated due to the long journey, the hills and the heavy load, and that the oil was fine. He filled up the water tank and made sure we also had enough to drink and gave us bottles of soda. We were so lucky to find this very friendly, honest, competent mechanic. His kindness was one of the highlights of our road trip! The world would be a better place if there were more people like him!
