The most problem free car buying experience I've ever had. I knew what car I wanted, walked in and within 1 hr had my financing in order and the car was under contract. Alex was my salesman and helped me every step of the way. He helped streamline the paperwork and made sure to dot the I's and cross the T's so I could get it pushed through the base quickly. And was able to work aroubd my hectic schedule where i was travelling over the 2 weeks. We even managed to squeeze a test drive in upon arrival before registration in case I had any regrets. The location helps as well since its near Panzer and less than 2 miles away. Would absolutely go through The Used Car guys again and recommend them if you are a service member.

Back in 2024, we bought a car with Nick when we first arrived in Germany. He was friendly, quick to respond, and patiently explained everything as he walked us through the process. This review is difficult to write because the process started off very strong. Nick was professional and responsive, and the overall experience of purchasing a vehicle was smooth and efficient. They move quickly, which I appreciated, and the process itself was easy. The trade-in offer was a bit lower than I had hoped, but I understand that dealerships need to make a profit. My concern is with the payoff process when trading in a vehicle that still has a balance. They require a 30-day payoff letter from the bank, which reflects the amount owed within that timeframe. However, this does not mean it should take the full 30 days to complete the payoff. Each additional day results in more interest being accrued on a vehicle I no longer own. In my case, it took a significant amount of time for them to pay off my loan, and it was not even completed within the 30-day window. Because of this delay, I estimate I lost about $300 in additional interest. Based on my trade-in value and remaining balance, I should have received close to $400 back, but I only received $100. This was a disappointing end to what had otherwise been a promising experience. Had I known this upfront, I would have negotiated a different price or explored other options. I would advise others to be cautious and fully understand the payoff timeline if you are trading in a vehicle with an outstanding loan.

Alex was great! I was selling my car and had given him a real short turn around with a PCS, and Alex was able to work the car from start to finish and all de-registered within 3 days. Even when buying cars from other dealers this process would take at least a week, and i am just in amazement that I was able to meet with him text him Saturday, meet with him Monday and have the car de-registered on Tuesday. I will definitely recommend as I can!
