MT Car Service

This place is terrible and shady. I bought my car in for a small oil leak left with a cracked head and they didn't even put my engine back together. They will not call you and tell you your car is done and they also will lead you on day by day! Terrible place I wouldn't bring a shopping cart here to get fixed. Good luck trust the reviews I am very fair but this guy is over the top and he will try to get unreasonable with you. He tried to have my comment deleted also I had to tow my car away and the owner tried to make me sign a document for me to drive my car away because they broke it and oil was spurting everywhere on my exhaust creating a fire hazard and it was not like when i dropped it off. The business I trusted to put on a simple oil pressure switch ended up having it towed away and i had to give the car away because they destroyed a perfectly good car and didn't want to take responsibility. They put some kind of rag and zip tied it on because they cracked the block and didn't own up to it use this company at your own risk!

Thorsten is a great mechanic and a down-to-earth guy. I get my oil changes and basic servicing done here. You can bring your own parts/oil and he'll do the work. He'll give you a straight assessment of what "needs" to be serviced and what's "nice" to be serviced. Do not expect dealership-level amenities like online appointments, coffee in the waiting area, etc. This is a classic mom and pop - style garage. Being a small business owner in Germany, he takes cash to help his bottom line. His main form of communication is via phone call; speaks English very well.

I have been a 'car guy' for almost 50 years, and taking my cars to MT Car Service for over 10 years.Thorsten is the BEST mechanic I've ever known. He is a MECHANIC, not just a computer tech. And honest, fair, and reasonable - his shop motto: 'No BS' is true. He finds problems and fixes things dealers and other shops can't. He won't fix things that ain't broke, or try to talk you into expensive, unnecessary repairs. We have a Hudson, a Studebaker, 58 Buick, SmartCar, BMW, and Chrysler minivan. He works on ALL of 'em. Whether you need an oil change or your entire motor rebuilt, can't do better than MT Car Service.
