If I could get 0 stars I would do it, We were there at the end of December because our car had broken down. The car was repaired, but shortly after we noticed a leak. When we reported this, we were told to come back again after two days — which was honestly unbelievable. An oily film was found, but after some discussion, our concerns were no longer taken seriously. When we returned to have the issue fixed — a problem that clearly appeared after the repair — the staff took no responsibility at all. Damaging a car and then avoiding responsibility is unacceptable. We even went out of our way to go to the base because we hoped the staff there would be experienced with American cars. That may be true, but the fact remains: the car was not fixed properly afterward. Never again.
Nice guys who will do whatever they can to work with you. Just dont be stupid, they cant work miracles
Been in Germany for almost 4 years and normally take my vehicles to a German mechanic off base. No issues there. I came here recently for the convenience of it being close to my work on base. My car needed the alternator serpentine belt replaced. Not a complicated job. The customer service is great. 5 stars from my point of view. Never felt rushed and they were always very nice and professional when attending me. However, my 2 star review is because they messed up the job. The serpentine belt was placed backwards and too loose. It broke at the shoppette. Didn't even make it very far. I went back to them to correct the mistake and customer service was again very helpful. A refund on this work is still pending supervisor approval. Nevertheless, I dont have trust in the mechanics there. Serpentine belt replacement is not complicated. Perhaps what happened here is a one off experience, but I won't be back to this shop. Update: the shop repaired both of my car's belts for free. Nevertheless, the alternator belt started squealing on my way home and it broke off again. I barely made it home with my car overheating as I pulled into my street and with almost no power into my driveway. Changing my review from 2 stars to 1 star. I have zero trust in their work now. I don't even want to dialog with the shop at this point. I will either fix it at home or go the the German mechanic.
I ordered 4 tires from them. They came in fast and then were put on in a timely manner..then after I got my car back..it was making a weird noise. So I tried to take it back and they said they would have to charge me to take a look..when they just had the car!! (Ended up coming to no charge). So the “new sound” needed up being my rear brakes. I ordered the parts from them. Then when the parts come in, they say I have to make an appointment to get them installed…when they have the car anyways… I had to get a rental due to my car not being drivable in the first place..and now I have to extend the rental when it’s already been a month..so bottom line..order your parts and then have them do it..or do it yourself
